to Online Panels

ResearchSIX was launched in 2012 and was originally thought of as an exchange for researchers, sampling and data collection companies. We had built a website around combining these three main groups of the marketing research industry which is how we eventually landed on our name: Research Survey & Interviewing Exchange or ResearchSIX for short.

In 2014 we quickly saw a need to open our own call center in order to maintain the quality that we had originally come to expect. We began with 48 stations, all equipped with CATI and full predictive dialing capabilities. By the year’s end we had increased our capacity to 75 stations. We also saw the need to develop our own online consumer panel and began the arduous task of putting together a panel that would eventually become the key component of our best-selling data collection solution.

Our third full year of 2015 saw further growth of our call center to 110 CATI stations, and we also began recruiting for our online panel by phone. Since most of our clients were eager to utilize our in-house online panel, most of them allowed us to recruit respondents into our panel by simply adding an email question at the end of their CATI survey. By the end of the year our panel had grown to around 200k members.
